WILLOUGHBY -- Police have arrested James F. Grant, 50, in connection with the PNC Bank robbery on Oct. 12 in Willoughby.
Grant was taken into custody at 5 p.m. Tuesday without incident. He was arrested at a relative's Clifton Avenue apartment in Cleveland.
Several tips generated from the media coverage of this robbery led to the arrest.
Grant has been charged with robbery, a felony, and was arraigned Wednesday by the Willoughby Municipal Court and has a bond set at $100,000.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Nov. 1.
Police say the Painesville FBI and the Lake County Sherriff's Office assisted in this investigation.
