The First Dog wants Christmas decorations to be first-rate.

The White House released this video of Bo making the rounds, checking out a Christmas tree and other signs of the season.

Also catching the Portuguese Water Dog's attention: A large likeness of himself fitted with a Santa Claus hat.

The Christmas theme at the White House in 2012 is "Joy To All."
