WICKLIFFE -- Police have arrested an Eastlake man in connection with a robbery at a Speedway gas station.

No one was hurt during the robbery during which police say an 8-inch knife was brandished.

Police were searching near the Cleveland/East Cleveland border for the getaway vehicle and spotted it on Woodworth Avenue.

After a chase and a struggle, police took the driver into custody.

Police have charged Joseph Pietropaolo with one count of aggravated robbery. Additional charged are possible.

The vehicle, a multi-colored 1992 Chevy Blazer was also recovered. Police say it had been stolen just prior to the Speedway robbery from another Speedway in Willowick.
