Canton: Two people shot inside a bar

CANTON -- Police say two people were shot inside a northeast Canton bar.

The shooting happened at De Elegance on 2360 Mahoning Road NE, at 2:30 a.m. Both a man and a woman were taken to Mercy Medical Center.

The man was shot in the leg  and the women was hit by fragments or a ricocheting bullet.

Police are investigating the shooting and asking anyone with information contact Canton Police Detectives at 330.489.3144.
