Indianapolis, IN (Sports Network) - The Indianapolis Colts signed defensive
tackle Fili Moala to a contract extension on Monday.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed but the Colts will be bringing back their
56th overall selection of the 2009 draft.
"I'm thrilled to be back as a member of the Colts and I'm looking forward to a
healthy return in 2013," said Moala. "Last year was a special season and we
want to continue that momentum. I'm anxious to get back on the field with
Coach Pagano and the rest of my teammates."
Over 48 games in the NFL, which includes 39 starts, the USC product has
totaled 86 tackles and two sacks along with a fumble recovery for a touchdown.
