(Sports Network) - The New York Giants have reportedly signed defensive
tackle Cullen Jenkins to a three-year contract.
According to USA Today, Jenkins' contract is worth $8 million, and he will
receive $3 million guaranteed.
Jenkins, 32, joins the Giants after spending the past two seasons in
Philadelphia. He played in 32 games, registering 67 tackles and 9.5 sacks,
but the Eagles declined his roster bonus, and cut him on Feb. 25 making him a
free agent.
The Central Michigan product had visited the Giants, Seahawks, 49ers, and
Raiders, before eventually signing with New York.
In 125 career games with the Packers (2004-10) and Eagles, Jenkins has 260
tackles, 38.5 sacks and one interception.
