CLEVELAND -- Channel 3 has confirmed that two popular Cleveland restaurants -- Sergio's on Ford Drive in University Circle and Sarava at Shaker Square -- are now closed.
Calls to both restaurants were met with answering machine recordings, saying "We regret to inform you that, as of March 18, the restaurant is no longer operating. We will not have access to retrieve voice mail, so please do not leave a message. We'd like to thank all of our customers for their ongoing support over the years."
Calls to a phone number provided were not answered.
It was back on Aug. 24 last year that owner/chef Sergio Abramof died at the age of 56 and his family continued to operate both restaurants.
