Documents obtained by Channel 3 News show the cost to replace damaged and destroyed items and to repair the damaged infrastructure was $6,565,889.27.
The City of Cleveland's insurance has covered $2 million so far, and the Cleveland Browns have paid $300,000. Cleveland's insurance is expected to cover most of the remaining costs, but the city has to provide more documentation first.
The water main broke during a country music concert. Toilets backed up and would not flush, and sewage poured through parts of Cleveland Browns stadium. Water heavily damaged locker rooms and ran through concourses.
ServiceMaster, a disaster restoration specialist, was the main contractor for the repairs.
