LAKEWOOD -- A horde of zombies are expected to stumble along the streets of Lakewood on Saturday afternoon.
But there's no reason to lock your doors or run to safety because this bloody brood isn't on a brutal hunt for brains. They're scratching out of their graves to scare up donations for charity in the 9th Oldschool Sinema Cleveland zombie walk.
It doesn't cost an arm and a leg to participate, either. Each gory guest is simply asked to donate two canned or non-perishable food items and $5, which benefits the Cleveland Food Bank.

Makeup applications start at 11:30 a.m. at the 5 O'clock Lounge at 11904 Detroit Rd. The walk begins at 3 p.m. and is expected to last 20 minutes.
For those who need makeup, some will be available for an additional cost at the venue.
Despite the dead theme, there will be plenty of life at the charity event with contests, special guests and vendors.
Zombies of all ages are welcome.
To date, Oldschool Sinema says its zombies have raised 8,000 pounds of food throughout previous charity walks.
