A trio of local Ohio Lottery players are have a bigger bank account after claiming top prizes in several games.
Officials with the Ohio Lottery say Brian Cengic of Independence hit it big with $200,000 on the Money Mania Double Play scratch-off ticket. He will receive $142,000 after taxes.
Cengic purchased this winning ticket from Convenient Food Mart at 7112 Brecksville Road in Independence. The store receives a $2,000 bonus for selling a top-prize ticket.
James Kelty of Cleveland nabs $100,000 for matching all five numbers in the Feb. 18 Rolling Cash 5 game. Taxes will reduce his take to $71,000.
His winning ticket was purchased from Cleveland Deli & Beverage at 14939 Puritas Avenue. The retailer will be awarded with $500 for selling a five-of-five winning ticket.
Finally, Zoryana Romanko of Parma claims $30,000 after scratching Thrilling 3's. She takes home $21,300 after taxes.
