Man tells sheriffs office he was sent to 'start a war'

ELYRIA, Ohio -- A shirtless man walked into the Lorain County Justice Center Monday and told staff he was there to start a war.

The man, Diontez Lockett, was told he could not enter the facility without a wearing shirt. After being questioned by a sergeant, he began behaving erratically and said he was sent there to start a war.

At that point, Lockett attempted to get through a security checkpoint. A sheriff's sergeant told Locket he would be arrested if he tried to enter the secured area. According to the sheriff's office, Lockett jumped in a way that was threatening.

A sergeant pulled out his taser, at which time Lockett jumped to the ground with his arms spread out.

Lockett was arrested for obstructing official business. He was taken to Lorain County Jail.
