AKRON -- The murder happened on East Crosier Street, near Merton Avenue, around 9:00 last night.
28-year-old Dante Walker was shot outside of a home.
Walker was able to get to a resident's porch before collapsing.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Walker's family has been notified of his passing.
An autopsy will be performed tomorrow by the Summit County Medical Examiner.
The Akron Police Department continues their investigation.
