INDIANAPOLIS -- A western Indiana man is accused of coercing 100 or more teenage boys into recording and sending him sexually explicit images.
Federal prosecutors say 39-year-old Richard Leon Finkbiner faces preliminary charges of sexual exploitation in his communications with a teenage boy in Maryland and another in Michigan.
The Indianapolis Star reports he was arrested Friday at his home in Brazil, Clay County.
Court documents say Finkbiner estimated to FBI agents that he had coerced at least 100 young people into sending him such videos.
The U.S. attorney's office says this could be the largest case of online sexual extortion of children on record. A prosecutor says most of the boys in videos on Finkbiner's computer appear to be 14 to 16 years old.
