HOLMES COUNTY -- A judge has set bond at $15,000 for a man charged in connection with the shooting death of an Amish girl.
Marion Yoder, 28, did not enter a plea in court today. He's due back in court on June 13 for a pre-trial hearing.
Yoder faces a charge of reckless homicide in the death of the 15-year-old. The girl died after being shot while driving a buggy home from a Christmas party last December.
Prosecutors say Yoder was cleaning his rifle and fired a shot into the air. The bullet hit Rachel Yoder in the head. The teen was more than a mile away from where the shot was fired.
The two are not related.
