AKRON -- An Akron child has been taken to the hospital after being found unresponsive, underwater at an Akron swim park.
According to the fire department, another swimmer saw the 5-year-old boy under the water and took him to the beach at the Eastwood Swim Park.
Lifeguards and emergency personnel performed CPR on the child until a nurse and doctor were able to take over.
There is no word on the boy's condition.
