Kurt Gies is suing Carnival cruise lines after he says he burned his feet during the traditional hairy chest contest because the pool deck was too hot.
He is now seeking damages of more than $75,000 for his injuries and mental anguish.
Carnival says no one sought out medical attention for burnt feet treatment during the trip.
