CHARDON -- A 15-year-old boy has been taken to a juvenile detention center after making threats at the bus stop.
According to Chardon's police chief, officers received word the teen made threats, including mention of a gun and the school's cafeteria.
After talking to students, the teen was taken into custody and not to school on Monday. The 15-year-old was then moved to the detention center.
The school has since suspended the student. The district says it takes all threats seriously.
On feb. 27, a shooting at the high school left three students dead and three others wounded.
