The rookie scored from 32-yards out in the 2nd quarter to pull the Browns within 14-10. Richardson's touchdown was part of a 5-play drive of 76 yards.
On the previous Bengals possession, quarterback Andy Dalton hit A.J. Green on a 10-yard touchdown pass to put Cincinnati up 14-3 in the 2nd quarter.
That touchdown capped a 74-yard drive on 8-plays.
Earlier in the 1st quarter, Phil Dawson kicked 50-yard field goal to give the Browns their first points of the game.
The Bengals scored first on an Adam "Pac-man" Jones punt return for an 81-yard touchdown.
It was the fifth career punt return for a touchdown for Jones.
The Browns fall to 0-2 and Bengals improve to 1-1.
