PAINESVILLE TOWNSHIP -- The man who died in an overnight house fire in Painesville Township has been identified as 68 year old Marion Stewart.
Stewart was found in a hallway area leading from a garage-workshop area into the kitchen.
The fire started in the back of a house on Wetmore Avenue early Thursday morning.
Stewart's brother, who also lived in the home, escaped the fire with minor smoke inhalation.
The Pensive Township Fire Department and Lake County Sheriff's Department are investigating the cause of the fire.
The home was deemed to be a total loss.
