AKRON -- A 29-year-old man was shot in the chest around 7 p.m. Friday following an argument in the 1200 block of Nome Avenue.
According to Akron Police, the victim was taken to a local hospital where he is reportedly listed in stable condition.
The suspect, Curtis Charlton, 30, was arrested near the intersection of North Hawkins Avenue and Copley Road. He was charged with felonious assault, aggravated burglary, having a weapon while under disability and discharging a firearm.
Charlton was booked into the Summit County Jail.
