STRONGSVILLE -- A high school student in Strongsville City Schools sent us the video above saying it shows how crammed the classrooms were Monday for the first day of the teachers strike.

The student, who asked to remain anonymous, says that classes were extra crowded because there weren't enough substitutes to fill in for the number of teachers who are out on strike.

The Strongsville Education Association overwhelmingly voted in favor of the strike Sunday night, stating they have undergone months of fruitless contract negotiations.

We received numerous calls throughout the day from people who say some teachers were acting "out of line" as they picketed outside of school buildings Monday.
