was among Monday's first-round losers at the $220,000 e-Boks Open tennis
event.
Hungarian Timea Babos drove out the 41-year-old Date-Krumm in 1-6, 7-6 (7-4),
7-5 fashion on the indoor hardcourts at Farum Arena.
Also on Day 1, Italian Alberta Brianti outlasted German Kristina Barrois 6-2,
3-6, 6-4.
This week's top seeds are former world No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki, German
Angelique Kerber and former top-ranked star Jelena Jankovic of Serbia. The
Danish hero Wozniacki, who will open her stay here against Poland's Urszula
Radwanska, is the reigning two-time Copenhagen titlist. She beat Czech Lucie
Safarova in last year's finale.
The 2012 Copenhagen champion will earn $37,000.
