Oakland, CA (Sports Network) - The Oakland Athletics have placed outfielder
Yoenis Cespedes on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to May 7, with a
strained muscle in his left hand.
Cespedes was hitting .245 with five doubles, five home runs and a team-high 21

He leads all rookies in RBI and stolen bases (four) while also tying for the
lead in home runs.
The A's recalled outfielder Michael Taylor from Triple-A Sacramento to fill
the roster spot.
Taylor appeared in four games for Oakland earlier this season, batting .188
