Stow's Mark Gangloff advances to 100m breaststroke finals

Mark Gangloff's mission to make a third United States Olympic team is right on track.

The Stow native recorded the third fastest time during the Olympic Trial Semifinals in Omaha, Nebraska.

The 2000 Firestone graduate finished with a time of 1:00.22.  Brendan Hanson has the overall best time of 59.71.

Gangloff is a two-time gold medal winner (2004 & 2008) in the 400-meter Medley Relay.

The finals are Tuesday evening on WKYC-TV and NBC.  The top two finishers will represent the United States in the 2012 London Olympics.
