Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Clippers signed free
agent guard Jamal Crawford on Wednesday.
As per team policy, terms of the deal were not released.
Crawford played in 60 games last season for the Portland Trail Blazers and
averaged of 13.9 points, 3.2 assists and 2.0 rebounds.
Crawford, a 12-year NBA veteran and former Sixth Man of the Year award winner,
has career averages of 15.3 points, 3.9 assists and 2.6 rebounds per game. The
eighth overall selection in the 2000 draft had his most productive season
during with 2007-08 campaign with the New York Knicks, when he averaged 20.6
points, 5.0 assists and 2.6 rebounds per game.
