Brooklyn, NY (Sports Network) - The Brooklyn Nets officially signed guard C.J.
Watson on Monday.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed but the New York Post reported earlier in
July that it was a one-year deal worth the veteran's minimum with a player
option for a second season.
Watson played in 49 games -- 25 starts -- for Chicago last season, and
averaged 9.7 points and a career-high 4.1 assists.
After 2 1/2 seasons with the Warriors to start his NBA career, Watson was
traded to Chicago prior to the 2010-11 season. Over five NBA campaigns,
Watson holds averages of 7.8 points and 2.6 assists in 305 games.
