NEW YORK -- Cleveland Indians right-hander Juan Nivar has been suspended for 50 games after a positive test under the minor league drug program.

The commissioner's office said Monday that the 19-year-old tested positive for metabolites of Boldenone.

Nivar is 4-1 with a 1.36 ERA in 10 starts for the Dominican Summer League Indians.

There have been 58 suspensions this year under the minor league program.
