CLEVELAND -- The Indians have snapped an 11-game losing with a 6-2 win over the Twins at Progressive Field.
The win helped the Indians avoid tying a franchise record for consecutive losses set back in 1931.
The Indians were helped in avoiding the history-tying mark by seven strong innings from starter Justin Masterson and offense from Shin-Soo Choo who went 4 for 4.
It's the first win since July 26.
