San Diego, CA (Sports Network) - San Diego Chargers defensive tackle Garrett
Brown has been suspended without pay for the team's first four games of the
regular season for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing
substances.
He will be eligible to return to the active roster on October 1 and is allowed
to take part in all preseason practices and games.
Undrafted out of Minnesota in 2010, Brown has never appeared in an NFL game.
