Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Washington Redskins linebacker Brian Orakpo
and safety Brandon Meriweather left Saturday's preseason game against the
Chicago Bears with injuries.
Orakpo left the game in the first quarter with what the team said was a
shoulder injury. He was hurt attempting to make an arm tackle and did not
return.
Soon after Orakpo was injured, the Redskins lost another key defensive player
as Meriweather had to be helped off the field with an injury to his left knee.
He also did not return to action.
