Dez Bryant's knee injury not serious

San Diego, CA (Sports Network) - An MRI on Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant's injured knee revealed patellar tendinitis.

Bryant suffered the injury while practicing against the San Diego Chargers on Monday. The MRI revealed no major structural damage.

The Cowboys start the regular season on Sept. 5 at the New York Giants.
