Browns say Trent Richardson ready to play

BEREA -- The Browns say Trent Richardson is expected to play in Cleveland's season opener against the Eagles this Sunday.

The team say there is a chance Richardson may start.

The running back had knee surgery last month forcing him to miss the entire pre-seaon.

The Browns selected Richardson from Alabama with the third overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft.
