Buenos Aires, Argentina (Sports Network) - Alan Wagner closed with a 4-under
68 on Sunday to win the Roberto DeVincenzo Invitational.
Wagner finished the tournament at 15-under-par 273. This was his first win on
the Latinoamerica Tour. Prior to this, he had made the cut in one of his
previous four tour events. He finished 26th in the tour's inaugural event, the
Mundo Maya Open.
Oscar Fraustro (64) and Ariel Canete (66) shared second place at minus-13 at
San Eliseo Golf Club.
Daniel Stapff (65), Julio Zapata (68) and Armando Favela (71) tied for fourth
at 12-under-par 276.
Wagner had four birdies in a 5-hole span on the front nine to jump to 15-
under. After dropping a pair of shots in the middle of his round, Wagner
birdied 17 and 18 to seal the win.
Third-round leader Sebastian Saavedra struggled to a 77 to end in a tie for
12th at minus-8. He had four bogeys and a double-bogey on the back nine.
