Provo, UT (Sports Network) - The meeting between the Utah State Aggies and BYU
Cougars set for Wednesday night at the Marriott Center has been postponed
after USU's Danny Berger collapsed during practice on Tuesday.
Berger, a junior forward who is averaging 7.6 points and 3.6 rebounds in five
games this season, needed CPR and the use of a defibrillator before ambulance
personnel arrived. He is listed in critical condition at Intermountain
Medical Center, but is awake and alert and has been able to communicate with
medical personnel and his family.
A make-up date for the game has yet to be announced, while Utah State's next
game against Western Oregon at home on Saturday is expected to go on as
scheduled.
