BEREA -- From kids in Florida to NFL rookies, Cleveland's Trent Richardson and Washington's Alfred Morris have known each other for years.

The running backs first met on the field growing up in Pensacola, Fla., where Richardson remembers Morris as "the biggest dude out there."

Morris said Richardson "had the calves of a grown man." A rivalry that began in youth games and continued through high school will be renewed Sunday when the Browns (5-8) host the Redskins (7-6), who hope quarterback Robert Griffin III can play after spraining his knee last week.

Richardson and Morris took different paths to the pros. Richardson was drafted No. 3, and despite some injuries, has rushed for 869 yards and nine touchdowns.

Morris wasn't taken until the sixth round, but has 1,228 and seven TDs.
