Meet this week's WKYC-TV Channel 3 "Student-Athlete of the Week," Euclid High School junior Ebrahim Elbagory.
Elbagory, a member of the Panthers' varsity wrestling team, went 6-0 with a win - an 11-6 decision - on Dec. 14th against Chardon.
In the Wolfpack Classic at Worthington Kilbourne, Elbagory led the team with five wins. The highlight came on Elbagory's final match. A pin in the final 51 seconds gave the Panthers a 42-39 team victory and a fifth-place finish in the 16-team field.
Last year, Elbagory was a district qualifier with a 24-16 record.
Elbagory maintains a 3.87 GPA while taking all honors classes
