Bears sign TE Maneri

Lake Forest, IL (Sports Network) - The Chicago Bears have agreed to terms on a two-year contract with tight end Steve Maneri.

Maneri, 25, spent the past two seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, posting six receptions for 52 yards.

Last season, Maneri started eight of 13 games played, helping block for Jamaal Charles, who ranked fourth in the NFL with 1,509 rushing yards.
