Meet this
week's WKYC-TV Channel 3 "Student-Athlete of the Week," Villa
Angela-St. Joseph High School sophomore Vaughn "Mo" Johnson.
Johnson is a two-year member of the Vikings'
varsity boys basketball team. The Vikings are set to play in a Division IV
state tournament semifinal contest on Friday.
"Not only does he get it done in the
classroom, but he helps others when they need it," VASJ head coach Babe
Kwasniak said of the sophomore. "He is a leader both on and off the floor for
us. I wish I had 12 Mo's."
Off the
court, Johnson is involved in the school's National Honor Society and
Student Ambassador Club.
Johnson
maintains a 3.57 GPA.
