Here are this week's American Family Insurance All-Northeast Ohio Top 5 Performances of the Week.

Number 5: This week's fifth-best performance comes from the lacrosse field, as the Strongsville girls squad traveled to Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School to take on the host Bees.

Number 4: This week's fourth-best performance comes from the softball diamond, as Strongsville traveled to Twinsburg. This photo shows a play at the plate, as the Twinsburg runner is thrown out at home.

Number 3: This week's third-best performance comes from the baseball game between Mayfield and Twinsburg. In the photo, the Twinsburg runner slips around the Mayfield first baseman as he attempts to reach for the tag. Twinsburg would go on to win the game, 7-2.

Number 2: This week's second-best performance comes from the baseball game between visiting Midview and host Bay. The game got away from the Rockets fairly quickly. In the photo, Midview's senior third baseman hits a three-run home run to clear the bases in the sixth inning.

Number 1: This week's top spot comes from the softball field. Westlake recently traveled to Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School for a matchup with the Bees. In this photo, the Westlake infielder covering second base has the ball well before the base runner has a chance to get to the bag. However, a hard slide by junior outfielder Ali Zak separates the ball and allows her to safely reach the base.

Those were the American Family Insurance All-Northeast Ohio Top 5 Performances of the Week.
