Rangers split series in Milwaukee

Milwaukee, WI (Sports Network) - Ian Kinsler and Mitch Moreland each hit a solo homer, with Moreland driving in two runs, as the Texas Rangers defeated the Milwaukee Brewers, 4-1, in the second and final game of a two-game set.

Derek Holland (3-2) allowed just one run on 10 hits over seven innings and Joe Nathan notched his ninth save for the Rangers, who finished the series 1-1. Texas has won four of its last six games.

Carlos Gomez was a perfect 4-for-4 with a double and a triple and Aramis Ramirez drove in the lone run for the Brewers, who saw starter Kyle Lohse (1-4) give up four runs on nine hits and two walks in 6 1/3 innings.
