Cincinnati Archbishop Moeller defeated St. Ignatius 7-1 in the Ohio High School Athletic Association Division I baseball state championship game on Sunday afternoon at Huntington Park in Columbus.
The Crusaders (32-2) outhit the Wildcats (27-7) 12-2 and scored runs in four of the six innings in which they batted en route to securing the program's second consecutive state title and seventh overall.
Junior Zach Logue limited St. Ignatius to just two hits to earn the complete-game win. Wildcats starter Nick Margevicius, who surrendered eight hits and four runs in three innings on the mound, was charged with the loss.
St. Ignatius scored its lone run in the top of the third inning.
