It's the best time of the year. It's time for high school football.
The 2013 season kicks off this week and everyone in the sports department is oozing with excitement.
There are lots of questions surrounding the high school gridiron: Oh sure, we all want to know if Mentor's offense will be as potent without Mitch Trubisky under center. Or does Chuck Kyle and St. Ignatius have another Division I title run in them?
But I'm talking about our prognosticators. Try to answer these questions before week #1. Can Vincent Dorsey repeat as prognosticator champ? Is Tim Dubravetz ready to drop some serious high school football knowledge on all of us? Is Dave Chudowsky a one-hit wonder when it comes to picking games? And maybe most importantly, will Brian Crane ever break .500?
The standings should be used as motivation for this season. Vincent Dorsey cruised to the overall top spot. He started strong and never looked back.
Be sure and come back every Tuesday each week for our high school football picks.
