CLEVELAND -- Browns starting safety T.J. Ward returned to practice Thursday, but defensive lineman Ahtyba Rubin and offensive lineman Shawn Lauvao continued to sit out with injuries.
Ward's shoulder injury recovered to the point where he was limited in practice.
Meanwhile, Rubin (calf) and Lauvao (ankle) continued to sit out. Both men missed last Sunday's game. Their status will be evaluated further Friday. Each are key starters on both sides of the ball.
WR Travis Benjamin (thigh) as limited in practice again Thursday.
Other players listed on the injury report, but fully participating in practice were DB Buster Skrine (shoulder) and LB Barkevious Mingo (lung).
