Final: Browns 31, Vikings 27

Defensive end Desmond Bryant sacked Christian Ponder on the last play of the game to seal a 31-27 win for the Browns.

The Browns took the lead :51 left in the game.  Quarterback Brian Hoyer hit tight end Jordan Cameron on a 7-yard touchdown pass.

The Vikings led 27-24 earlier in the 4th quarter on a Blair Walsh 30-yard field goal.

Minnesota quarterback Christian Ponder has rushed for two touchdowns in the game.

The Vikings and Browns are tied 24-24 in the 3rd quarter.

Both teams have four turnovers in the game.

Minnesota kicker Blair Walsh hit a 43-yard field goal late in the first half.  The Vikings trailed 24-17.

The Browns ran another trick play on special teams.  Spencer Lanning found Jordan Cameron wide open on a fake field goal attempt.  The Browns took a 24-14 lead on that play.

Kicker Billy Cundiff nailed a 38-yard field goal in the 2nd quarter to give the Browns a 17-14 lead in the 2nd quarter. 

The Vikings tied the game 14-14 with 10:12 left in 2nd quarter when Minnesota quarterback Christian Ponder scored from 6-yards out.

Just before that, the Browns scored their second touchdown of the game.  Quarterback Brian Hoyer connected with Jordan Cameron on a 19-yard score.

The Browns led the Vikings 14-7 after that touchdown.

Earlier in the 1st quarter, the Browns scored a touchdown after quarterback Brian Hoyer connected on Josh Gordon for a 47-yard strike in the 1st quarter.

The Browns and Vikings were tied 7-7 with 4:42 remaining in the 1st quarter.

The Browns stalled on their first possession of the game.  They had to punt.

Meanwhile, the Vikings wasted no time on their first possession.

Minnesota running back Adrian Peterson scored from 2-yards out as the Vikings lead 7-0 in the 1st quarter.

The Vikings went 80 yards on 11 plays in 5:27.

Running back Willis McGahee will play for the Browns.  McGahee signed with Cleveland just three days ago after Trent Richardson was traded to Indianapolis.

Backup quarterback Brian Hoyer, who played high school football at St. Ignatius, is starting for Brandon Weeden.  Weeden is out with a sprained thumb.

Wide receiver Josh Gordon is also playing as well after serving a two-game suspension.

The Browns are 1-2.  The Vikings are 0-3.
