Tribe: Oh, the difference a year makes

CLEVELAND -- It may not be the postseason yet, but it sure feels like it at Progressive Field.

Oct. 3, 2012, the Indians wrapped up a disappointing season with a nearly empty stadium. They lost 9-0 to the White Sox, marking their 94th loss and leaving fans relieved the season was over.

As the famous Cleveland sports slogan goes, there's always next year ... and what a year it's been.

The Indians spent the offseason wheeling and dealing. They brought in a new manager and veteran players. They spent some money but far from the top of the list.

Here we are a year removed, talking about that same team and a potential postseason berth.

Over 30,000 filled the stadium for the final home game of the regular season with the third largest walk-up crowd of the year.

All together over 1.5 million came to the ballpark this season and they hope isn't over yet.
