Not a bad Saturday afternoon for Northeastern Ohio high school sports!
First up, the Elyria Pioneers softball team won their third Division I state crown, as they rallied to beat Lebanon by the final of 4-3.
Then, the Tallmadge baseball team went to work, shutting out Chaminade Julienne in the Division II title game 4-0.
Tonight, Strongsville will take on Massillon Jackson for the Division I baseball championship, while Akron Hoban will square off against Hebron Lakewood in the Division II softball title game.
