Cleveland Indians acquire INF Josh Wilson from Texas Rangers

The Cleveland Indians acquired infielder Josh Wilson from the Texas Rangers in exchange for cash considerations, the team announced Thursday.

Wilson was assigned to the organization's AAA Columbus roster.

Wilson, 36, has spent the 2017 season with Texas' AAA affiliate, the Round Rock Express, where he's hit .329 with four home runs and 16 RBI. His last major league appearance was with the Detroit Tigers in 2015.
