Fans gear up for Tribe postseason

CLEVELAND - Are you ready to rock the corner of Carnegie and Ontario?

The Cleveland Indians host the Boston Red Sox in Game 1 of the American League Division Series Thursday.

On Wednesday morning, the Indians announced Thursday's pregame festivities.

Alumnus Tito Francona, father to Indians manager Terry Francona, is slated to throw out the first pitch. 

Other pregame festivities include:

  • Indians radio broadcaster Tom Hamilton will emcee events
  • Veteran local singer Jon Ridinger will sing the national anthem
  • CMSD students and staff will hold a giant flag on the field during the national anthem
  • Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and Coast Guard color guards will present the colors
  • Indians scouts and player development staff will be recognized
  • The Budweiser "Bud and Burgers" trailer will be on Gateway Plaza
  • The "Triv Show" will broadcast live from the main concourse
  • KISS FM will broadcast from Gateway Plaza
  • "We Are Radio" will perform on Gateway Plaza
  • Dueling pianos will be on First Energy Heritage Plaza

All fans will receive a rally towel.
