Indians, White Sox end with 2-2 tie

Today the Indians and Chicago White Sox battled to a 2-2, 9.0 inning tie today in Glendale.

Josh Tomlin (5.0IP, 5H, 2R/ER, 0BB, 5K) started, retiring the first 8 White Sox in order before yielding back-to-back solo homers in the 5th inning to Conor Gillaspie and Josh Phegly.

Tomlin was followed by Bryan Shaw, Cody Allen, David Aardsma and Mike Zagurski, who all recorded scoreless outings. Shaw has not allowed a run in 5 outings/5.0IP this spring.

The Indians plated a run in the 7th inning on a passed ball following a David Cooper double and tied the game in the 8th on a Cooper sacrifice fly.
