Meet the man who created Chief Wahoo

CLEVELAND - Walter Goldbach created one of the most recognizable mascots in baseball, the Cleveland Indians’ Chief Wahoo, in 1946.

He was just 17 years old. Today,

he told Channel 3’s Andrew Horansky that its controversy has since added to its popularity. Check out the video above to hear what Goldbach had to say.
